June 30th was the official groundbreaking ceremony for Co:Here. The event was held at Grandview Calvary Baptist Church and the development site. A big thank you to all the speakers, guests, media and Just Catering for providing delicious refreshments.
Speakers included Tim Dickau (Senior Pastor, GCBC), Honorable Suzanne Anton (Attorney General, Minister of Justice & MLA for Vancouver-Fraserview), Councillor Heather Deal (Deputy Mayor, City of Vancouver), Andrew Middleton (Acting Regional Manager, Affordable Housing BC & North, CMHC), Rob Turnbull (President & CEO, Streetohome Foundation), John Koehn (Chair, Co:Here Foundation), Rebecca Pousette (Director, Salsbury Community Society). MC’ing the event was Michael Guenter (Vice Chair, Co:Here Foundation).
