We are thrilled to announce that Co:Here Foundation is one of 14 organizations from across Canada selected to receive final funding from CMHC’s Housing Supply Challenge: Getting Started Round. This funding is catalytic for Co:Here as we grow our capacity to launch our not-for-profit development consulting services for Faith-Based Organizations.
Faith groups across the country are seeking to respond to the housing crisis, yet they often struggle in the early stages. Developing a feasible and mission-centred vision, funding early project costs, and establishing internal governance are just a few of the particular challenges these groups face. To respond to this need, Co:Here has developed specialized not-for-profit development consulting services that come alongside, and empower faith groups to bring their housing vision to life. This significant funding has launched Co:Here into growing our capacity to serve the increasing need in the sector. Stay tuned for many more exciting updates in the months to come!
